Great discussions today as Smart-Pumps and SKILLSAFE EU, both committed to advance heat pump technology in Europe, came together to explore potential synergies.
Smart-Pumps aims to revolutionise heat-pumps design and manufacturing, by leveraging cutting-edge techniques, prioritising recycled materials, integrating sensors for performance optimisation and establishing standardised protocols for mass production.
SKILLSAFE-EU aims to develop industry-wide guidelines for the safe handling and installation of heat pumps using low global warming potential refrigerants like propane, involving collaboration among manufacturers, associations and training institutions.
The meeting procided an excellent opportunity for project coordinators Agathoklis Krimpenis (Hellenic Mediterranean University) and Nishant Karve (Daikin Europe) to present their projects, highlight key objectives, and identify common challenges and collaboration opportunities.
Representatives from the European Heat Pump Association and NVKL joined on behalf of SKILLSAFE EU, while Danfoss and Deep Blue contributed to the discussions for Smart-Pumps. A big thank you to all for their valuable insights and engagement!
