We’re excited to share that we have been invited by IEA Project 65: Heat Pumps in a Circular Economy to present a dedicated open Deep Dive session showcasing the Smart-Pumps project.
On March 17th our coordinator at the Hellenic Mediterranean University will present the consortium‘s approach to overcoming current efficiency limitations in heat pump design and manufacturing, covering three main areas of work:
- Hybrid manufacturing approaches for circular, lower-impact components;
- Non-invasive ultrasonic sensing for real-time flow monitoring;
- Distributed IoT architecture for intelligent control and smart grid integration.
If you’re working in heating, decarbonization, or Horizon Europe research, this is a good chance to see where the project stands and what’s coming next.
